Caprylic/capric triglyceride (GTCC) is a medium-chain emollient ester made by esterifying caprylic (C8) and capric (C10) fatty acids with glycerol, then refining by molecular distillation at our Dongying plant. Colourless, odourless and unusually resistant to oxidation, GTCC is the workhorse oil phase in modern skincare, sun care and colour cosmetics — it replaces heavier vegetable oils without the greasy after-feel, and needs no added antioxidant.

Physicochemical limits follow GB 28302-2012, the Chinese national standard for caprylic/capric glycerides. Each shipment is released against a batch COA showing actual test results; custom C8:C10 ratios and pack sizes can be discussed per order.
Typical values are the measured results of production batch NMT-260605 (manufactured 2026-06-26): acid value 0.06 mg/g, colour 23 Hazen, iodine value 0.13 g I₂/100 g, saponification value 336.52 mg/g, water 0.05%, relative density 0.940, refractive index 1.4480, peroxide value 0.06 mmol/kg, hydroxyl value 5.45 mg KOH/g. They are not guaranteed values; the measured results on the batch COA supplied with each shipment are binding.

How is GTCC different from ODO?
They are the same substance supplied against different standards. GTCC is the cosmetic-grade material described on this page; ODO — food additive grade is the same molecule released to the Chinese food additive standard for food applications.
What packaging sizes do you supply?
190 kg iron drums for bulk orders, 25 kg plastic drums for small and medium batches, and 1 kg samples for trial orders.
Do you provide COA and MSDS?

Manufacturing & Quality
This product is manufactured by Shandong Nametai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. at its Dongying plant (Yellow River Delta Agricultural High-tech Zone, Shandong), a 5,220 m² facility with an annual capacity of 10,000 tonnes. Production uses esterification and molecular distillation. Typical values on this page come from our own production batch NMT-260601.
Every batch is tested in our in-house QC laboratory before release, covering the parameters listed in the specification table above. Heavy metals, plasticizers and microbiological items are verified through third-party laboratory reports. A batch COA is issued with each shipment.
The site holds ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HACCP, Kosher, HALAL, FDA food-facility registration and a China food production licence, all issued to Shandong Nametai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The issuing body is printed on each certificate so it can be verified independently.

Commercial Terms
Minimum Order Quantity
The minimum order quantity is 1 kg for MCT Oil, MCT Powder and Specialty Esters.
Samples
Samples are available in 1 kg or 20 kg quantities, and sample quantities can also be customized according to customer requirements.
Lead Time
Regular orders: 7 days to port of departure. Samples: within 7 days to the port of departure, depending on sample quantity. OEM / custom orders: within 30 days from the order date.
Documentation
A batch COA (Certificate of Analysis) carrying the actual test results is issued with each shipment. TDS can be provided with shipment or upon request. Further documentation requirements can be discussed at the enquiry stage.

Packaging
